Happy 18 Month Birthday Sawyer
Today marks Sawyer's 18 Month birthday! Yup, already we are closing in on 2 years. Can we just ask two things - where did the time go and could we please slow down already?! He is getting bigger and bigger every day, not to mention learning so much. We can't believe how much these little guys learn in such a short amount of time.
Sawyer spends most of his time playing with cars, trucks, and reading books. We would have to say that his favorite past time is reading books. Although playing with his cars comes in a close second. Sawyer tips the scales at 27 pounds, and he is almost 36" tall already! He has a lot of teeth, cutting about 6 of them right now. (which reminds me I have to get the baby book out!) He still has lots of hair - yup everywhere we go people just love his hair, and of course his dimples.
Right now we are building up our vocabulary. He went from just babbling to spitting out two word sentences. It took us awhile to figure out some of his babblings, but we are catching on pretty quick. I guess people are right, you learn to understand your own kids. Some of his favorite words are; milk, bus, cars, birds, let's go guys, that's dads, its a mess, its off, close the door, crackers, daddy, mommy, and probably a few more I can't remember. They say these little sponges build up to a 200 word vocabulary by the time they are 2, and we can believe it because he learns a new word or a couple of words each day.
Happy 18 Month Birthday Sawyer! Mommy and Daddy love you very much!!
