I know a lot of people are wondering what Darrin decided to do for a job when we moved down to the Milwaukee area. He now works for County Materials as a block delivery driver. At first he was very nervous about driving down here. I even think he came home one day shortly after beginning his new job and said, "I don't think I can do this."
We are happy to report that he really enjoys his job. He says there are so many benefits to his job that makes him smile day in and day out. Not knowing the area used to cause him a great deal of stress, but Darrin has now become so familiar with Milwaukee and the Greater Milwaukee area. This is very helpful for us when we decide to venture out and take in some of the attractions Milwaukee has to offer.
Darrin gets to work early in the morning and has the pleasure of seeing the sun come up sometimes over Lake Michigan. If you know Darrin, then you would know this is a great thing for him. Back in the day he would text me from job-sites to let me know how beautiful the sunrise and sunsets were. Now he gets to enjoy even more picturesque scenery.
After about 4-5 weeks of winter lay off, Darrin is back to work again this spring. He has been to many jobs and still enjoys driving his truck. So if you are wondering if Darrin's job is going well, yes it is. And he is enjoying it!
